Any suggestions on substitutes for soy sauce or tamari? I would like to try making chicken fried rice with the basmati rice I am allowed to have. Eating this new way has been a struggle for me as garlic and onions have been a huge part of my diet, my entire life. I have tried substituting chives and garlic infused oil. It is okay, but not great. I am not allowed to have sugar of any kind, including maple syrup (as this would feed the yeast in my small intestines).
